The cardiac team at the Heart Center is led by John T. Ferrell, MD, FACC who brings over 20 years of experience in treating the heart to the people of southwest Kansas. Dr. Ferrell is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Radiology, and American Board of Interventional Cardiologists and is a Fellow in the American College of Cardiologists.

Dr. Ferrell is a staff cardiologist with Cardiovascular Consultants of Kansas and is the lead cardiologist for the Heart Center at St. Catherine Hospital, residing in Garden City.

St. Catherine Hospital has been the location for the outreach clinics provided by Cardiovascular Consultants of Kansas since 1984. Michael Lloyd, DO, FACC will continue to provide outreach services and clinic at the Heart Center at St. Catherine Hospital as he has since 2004.

The staff at the Heart Center are skilled professionals, trained at Kansas Heart Hospital, a nationally recognized heart and vascular hospital.
