St. Catherine Hospital is pleased to announce that effective July 1, 2008 the Women’s Clinic of Garden City will join the Catholic Health Initiatives community of health care providers. They join Siena Medical Clinic and the Surgery Center of Southwest Kansas as the newest hospital based clinic to integrate with St. Catherine Hospital. The ownership of the Women’s Clinic by St Catherine Hospital creates a single, stronger organization to better serve the residents of Garden City and surrounding communities.

The integration of the Women’s Clinic with St. Catherine Hospital will ensure patients have access to a wide range of resources and services. The additional resources available through St. Catherine Hospital will allow clinic physicians and staff to focus their energy on patient care and less time on business operations. The Women’s Clinic, dedicated to health concerns unique to women, will continue to offer quality obstetric and gynecology services to southwest Kansas.

It is anticipated that the clinic’s non-physician staff will be offered the opportunity to remain in their current positions and become employees of St. Catherine Hospital. All currently available diagnostic services will continue to be offered at the clinic.
