Mid-America Occupational Health Services at Siena Medical Clinic Celebrates Opening
St.CatherineHospital and Siena Medical Clinic announce the opening of Mid-America Occupational Health Services.This specialty clinic will be operated by Terry R. Hunsberger, DO, as the Senior Medical Examiner.He will be assisted by Robin Sustala, ARNP-C, MSN.Dr. Hunsberger opened a Family Practice Clinic in 1974 and expended this practice in 2000 to include the field of Occupational and Aviation Medicine. He is a Certified Wound Care Specialist and is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of General Practice and the AmericanAcademy of Medical Preventics.Robin Sustala has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner with certification through ANCC.She works closely with Dr. Hunsberger in the field of Occupational Medicine.
The mission of Mid-America Occupational Health Services is to reduce unnecessary health and safety costs by integrating prevention, education and treatment while simultaneously enhancing the health status of the Kansas Work Force.The goal of this integrated approach is to generate savings in both lost work time and medical costs associated with work related injuries and illness.
Services offered will include Workers Compensation Case management, Physical examinations including post job offer screenings, DOT physicals, Hazardous material physicals, respiratory physicals, return to work physicals and FAA pilot physicals. A highly qualified staff includes nurses, lab and x-ray techs, and physical and occupational therapists, all working together to get the employee back to work as soon as possible and in the best health possible.
