St. Catherine Hospital is pleased to announce the association of John T. Ferrell, MD, Interventional Cardiologist. Dr. Ferrell will be responsible for the operations of the
hospital's new heart catheterization lab, The Heart Center at St. Catherine Hospital. Dr. Ferrell is extremely well qualified for this position and is board certified in Interventional Cardiology, Internal Medicine and Radiology. He brings over 20 years of experience in the field of cardiology.
Dr. Ferrell completed his undergraduate education at Yale University and graduated from Georgetown University Medical School in Washington D.C. He completed an Internship in Internal Medicine and residencies in Diagnostic Radiology and Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University Health Center of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA. He completed a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Ferrell will be associated with Cardiovascular Consultants of Kansas and the Kansas Heart Hospital as well as St. Catherine Hospital. Dr. Gregory Duick of Cardiovascular Consultants of Kansas said, "We are very fortunate to have a physician with Dr. Ferrell's qualifications join our group.
